Code of Conduct for Social Responsibility of Tianjin Jingwei Zhengneng Electrical Energy Equipment Co., Ltd.

Tianjin Jingwei Zhengneng Electrical Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. is a leading provider of power equipment in China. We are committed to providing customers with competitive power equipment, technical solutions, and services to create value for them and exceed their expectations. To this end, the company supports the achievement of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), fulfills its corporate social responsibility (CSR), and builds a sustainable industrial chain.

The company promises to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the country/region where it operates, adopt internationally recognized industry standards and best practices, and continuously improve its CSR management level.

The "Code of Conduct for Social Responsibility of the Company" (hereinafter referred to as "this Code") was developed with reference to the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct (RBA Code). The company promises to establish a CSR management system, conduct internal audits on the company periodically based on this Code, and rectify any non-compliance found within a specified period of time while verifying the effectiveness of the rectification.

This Code applies to all employees of Tianjin Jingwei Zhengneng Electrical Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., including temporary workers, foreign laborers, apprentices, student workers, contract workers, direct employees, and other types of personnel.

This Code contains five parts: Labor Standards, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, Business Ethics, and Management System.

1. Labor Standards

1.1 Freedom of Employment The company ensures that all employees are employed voluntarily. The company promises and strictly enforces not to employ any form of slavery (including modern slavery), forced labor, bonded labor, trafficked persons or prison labor. The company will not restrict personal freedom, withhold identity documents, traffic in persons, including transporting, harboring, recruiting, transferring, or receiving such workers or services by means of threat, force, coercion, abduction, or deception. Employees shall not be required to pay deposits, recruitment fees or other expenses to the employer or agent.

1.2 Child Labor and Minor Workers

1. The company complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the minimum working age and prohibits the use of any form of child labor.

2. The company effectively identifies the age of all employees during recruitment, and minors under the age of 18 shall not engage in work that may endanger their health or safety.

3. The company protects student workers and apprentices in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

1.3 Working Hours

The company complies with all applicable laws and regulations related to working hours and rest, and all overtime work must be voluntary. The standard working week (excluding overtime) should be determined by law but should not exceed 48 hours, and the total working hours per week shall not exceed 60 hours. Employees should have at least one day off after working for six consecutive days.

1.4 Salary and Benefits

The wages paid by the company to employees shall comply with all applicable wage laws, including all legal requirements related to minimum wages, overtime wages, and statutory benefits. The company shall pay employees their salaries in full and on time and provide clear and understandable pay slips.

1.5 Humane Treatment

The company shall not use violence, including but not limited to verbal abuse, threats, corporal punishment, sexual harassment, or physical coercion against employees, nor shall it illegally search or conduct body searches on employees, or threaten to do so.

1.6 Non-Discrimination

The company shall not discriminate against employees in employment practices such as hiring, remuneration, promotion, rewards, training opportunities, or dismissal based on race, skin color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity or nationality, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, membership in organizations, protected genetic information, or marital status. The company shall not require employees or prospective employees to undergo medical tests or examinations that may have discriminatory purposes.

1.7 Freedom of Association

The company respects the right of all employees to voluntarily form and join unions, engage in collective bargaining and peaceful assembly, and refuse to participate in such activities in accordance with local laws. The company establishes effective labor-management communication mechanisms and communicates with employees or employee representatives regularly. Employees and/or their representatives should be able to openly communicate and express their views and concerns with management regarding working conditions and management practices without fear of discrimination, retaliation, threats, or harassment.

2.Health and Safety

The company provides a safe and healthy working environment, eliminates any working conditions that may seriously endanger life safety or health, prevents major fires or explosion accidents from occurring, prevents fatal accidents from occurring at the work site, and prevents or causes disease during the work process, such as public health emergencies causing collective infection events.

2.1 Working Conditions

1. The company obtains, maintains and updates all necessary health and safety permits, and complies with the relevant regulations of these permits.

2. The company identifies and evaluates potential health and safety risks (including fire protection, industrial hygiene, physically demanding work, machine protection, etc.), eliminates or reduces risks through hazard elimination, substitution, engineering controls, preventive maintenance, and safe work processes (including lockout/tag-out), and provides appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary. In addition, appropriate measures will be taken to protect women workers, especially pregnant and lactating women, from safety and health hazards.

3. The company establishes necessary procedures and systems to prevent, manage, track, and report work-related injuries and illnesses, implements corrective measures to eliminate impacts, and helps employees return to work.

4. The company provides appropriate health and safety training in the local language to employees, and posts health and safety-related information in the workplace.

2.2 Living Conditions

The company provides clean toilet facilities and drinking water for employees, and provides clean and hygienic food storage and dining facilities when necessary. When providing dormitories for employees, the company maintains clean and safe dormitories and reasonable living space for employees.

2.3 Emergency Preparedness

The company identifies and assesses potential emergencies and emergency events, including but not limited to fires, explosions, fatal accidents, collective poisoning, etc., and minimizes the impact on personnel, the environment, and property by implementing emergency plans and response procedures, including emergency reporting, on-site first aid, notification and evacuation procedures, regular training and exercises, and recovery plans.

2.4 Absolute Rules

The company adheres to the following safety rules to ensure that all employees are fully aware of and comply with them, and supervises their implementation

1. High-altitude operations

(2) Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment during high-altitude operations;

(3) Never walk or stand under suspended objects;

(4) Never throw tools or other items during high-altitude operations.

2. Driving operations

(1) Always wear a seatbelt when driving or riding in a vehicle;

(2) Never use a mobile phone while driving;

(3) Never exceed the speed limit;

(4) Never drive while fatigued.

3. Live working

Do not engage in live working unless appropriate training and qualifications have been obtained.

4. Alcohol or drugs

Never work under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

3. Environmental Protection

3.1 Environmental Permits and Reporting

The company obtains, maintains, and updates all necessary environmental permits (pollution permits), approval documents, and registration certificates, and complies with their requirements for operation and reporting.

3.2 Product Environmental Requirements

The company complies with all applicable laws and regulations and customer requirements regarding prohibited or restricted substances, such as RoHS and REACH, and takes effective measures to prohibit or restrict the use of specific substances in products and/or manufacturing processes.

3.3 Prevention of Environmental Pollution

The company complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding pollutants (including wastewater, exhaust gas, solid waste), including requirements related to manufacturing, transportation, storage, treatment, and discharge, and reduces or eliminates pollution from the source, prohibits illegal discharge of toxic and harmful pollutants, and prevents noise pollution.

3.4 Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction

The company adopts measures to save energy and resources, reduce consumption of water and natural resources, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by implementing energy-saving and substitution measures.

4. Business Ethics

4.1 Integrity and Honesty

The company prohibits corruption and dishonesty, and adheres to the principle of "no bribery, no gift-giving, no affiliation, no fraud, no cutting corners, no business fraud, and keeping promises", that is, the "six no's and one adherence".

4.2 Intellectual Property

5. Management Requirements

The company's senior management commits to publishing a CSR policy statement in the local language, committing to at least comply with legal requirements, industry standards, customer requirements and the requirements of this Code, and continuously improve.

The company designates a senior manager responsible for CSR management, establishes an internal assessment and accountability mechanism based on the principle that business must manage CSR. The company integrates CSR into the daily operations of various functional departments, accepts on-site audits arranged by customers, and discloses relevant information.

5.2 Risk Assessment and Risk Management

The company identifies CSR risks and opportunities related to its operations based on legal requirements, industry standards, customer requirements, the requirements of this Code, and its own strategic needs, implements appropriate control measures, and minimizes risks to the maximum extent possible.

5.3 Upstream Supplier Management

The company gradually promotes the implementation of CSR management systems for procurement, gradually incorporates the requirements of this standard as procurement requirements into upstream supplier management, including signing written commitments, incorporating certification selection criteria and regularly auditing.

5.4 Internal Audit and Management Review

Senior management of the company regularly reviews its own CSR performance to ensure the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of CSR.
