The project starts from the Zhalute Converter Station in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and ends at the Qingzhou Converter Station in Weifang City, Shandong Province, passing through four provinces (cities, regions): Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Tianjin, and Shandong. The transmission line is 1234 kilometers long with two new converter stations, Zhalute and Qingzhou, and a rated transmission capacity of 10 million kilowatts, with a total investment of 22.1 billion yuan.
