Mr.ETHAN WU, male, born in November of 1980 in Xinle, Hebei province, master degree, a professor level senior engineer. He is an expert who enjoys special government allowances. He completed his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from the Department of Electric Power Engineering at Changsha University of Science and Technology (formerly known as Changsha Electric Power Technical College) in 2003, and then graduated with a master's degree in Engineering Management from Shandong University of Science and Technology in 2016.

Mr.ETHAN WU has successively held a post at Beijing Electric Power Equipment Factory as both the Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Electrical Appliance Research Institute; the Deputy Director of Beijing Technology Center at China Energy Engineering Group Equipment Co., Ltd; He is currently the General Manager of the Electric Power Division of Tianjin Jingwei Huikai Optoelectronics Co., Ltd and the General Manager of Tianjin Jingwei Zhengneng Electrical Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., and Part time Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of Jinnan branch in Tianjin.

Mr.ETHAN WU has long been committed to the research of power grid technology, and has made systematic and pioneering research work in the field of ultra-high voltage. He has led the development of the world's first "PKDGKL-1100-5455-75 dry-type air-core smoothing reactor" with a voltage level of up to 1000kV, as well as China's first "RKSGKL-800-1800-50 dry-type air-core bridge arm reactor" and "XKDGKL-500-3000-50 dry-type air-core current limiting reactor". He   was awarded one first prize for technological progress in provincial and ministerial level, six special and first prizes for technological progress awards in bureau level, and have been granted five national invention patents for research and development products, published 6 academic papers and currently undertaking “research on key technologies for preventing typical faults in dry-type air-core reactors”, research on “500kV high-voltage dry-type air-core shunt reactors”, “offshore compact wind power bridge-arm reactors”, and research on other internationally advanced projects.

In 2016, he was awarded the honorary title of Excellent Member of CPC in Beijing, in 2019 he was awarded the honorary title of Excellent Science and Technology Worker in Tianjin, and in 2020 he was awarded the Government Special Allowance Honorary Certificate by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
